This is where ESU’s leading edge technology comes fully into play. Since its arrival in 2001, ESU LokPilot decoders have been used by thousands of satisfied customers. Well known model railroad producers, who factory-deliver their locos with built-in LokPilot decoders, may serve as reference for the superb quality of our decoders. LokPilot decoders are available in several formats, depending upon gauge or digital system.

	LokPilot 5 Basic   The LokPilot 5 Basic was developed with the aim of offering a modern decoder with a reasonable range of functions at a reasonable price.
	LokPilot 5   The LokPilot 5, top of the range, speaks DCC, Motorola® and Selectrix®. Armed for the coming NMRA DCC BiDirectional Standard („RailCom®“), it is for all ambitious model railroaders with technical vision and an appetite for new technologies.
	LokPilot 5 DCC   The LokPilot 5 DCC is the "twin" of the LokPilot 5. The two share almost all the characteristics, however, the LokPilot 5 DCC is a pure DCC decoder and cannot be used on analog AC systems be used.
	LokPilot 5 Fx The LokPilot 5 Fx is a function decoder without motor output and therefore perfect for installation in control cars or function models.
	LokPilot 5 Fx DCC The LokPilot 5 Fx is a function decoder without motor output and therefore perfect for installation in control cars or function models.
	LokPilot  5 micro   The LokPilot 5 micro is the smallest digital decoder from ESU to date.
	LokPilot 5 micro DCC   The LokPilot 5 micro DCC is the "twin" of the LokPilot 5 micro.
	LokPilot 5 Fx micro DCC   The LokPilot 5 Fx micro and its “twin” LokPilot 5 Fx micro DCC is an extremely small function decoder with a footprint of only 8.0mm x 7.0mm and a thickness of only 2.4mm
	LokPilot 5 Fx micro Next18 (DCC)   The LokPilot 5 Fx micro and its "twin" LokPilot 5 Fx micro DCC are versatile decoders with a Next18 interface on a footprint of 13.0mm x 9.2mm.
	LokPilot 5 L   The LokPilot 5 L finds its place wherever the LokPilot 5 no longer “fits” in terms of performance.
